Modern and Contemporary French Literature
1) 19th-Century Literature
Research focuses on the formation and transformation of the concept of Romanticism through a comparative study of the discourses of 19th-century Classicists (such as Nisard and Planche) and Romantics (such as Hugo and Stendhal).
2) Modern and Contemporary Poetry
Research examines the historical evolution of poetry from the 19th century to the present, with particular attention to its expansion and transgression of boundaries from verse poetry into forms such as prose poetry and free verse.
