1) Ancient Indian Household Rituals
Kajihara researches household rituals in ancient India, which include weddings, birth and growth ceremonies for children, initiation ritual, ceremonies for learning the Veda, etc., with a particular focus on the initiation ceremony. Using documents primarily from the 3rd century BCE and, where possible, tracing back to the 10th century BCE, the aim is to trace the formation and development of household rituals in India.
2) Society and Culture in Ancient India
This research examines the forms and backgrounds of Indian household rituals, focusing on the Vedic religion (commonly known as Brahmanism) in ancient times. This study aims to shed light on the social and cultural aspects of ancient India.
