Research Area

Western Classical Studies

1) Greek & Latin classics

My main area of research is early Greek epic poetry, especially meter and formula. I do my research with the help of linguistics and early Greek inscriptions.

2) Greek & Latin linguistics

I am also interested in ancient Greek, Latin, and Indo-European linguistics. I have written on the enclisis of the Greek verb on the basis of early Greek inscriptions. It has already been shown through comparative philology that finite verbs lack accent, but I have shown that this can be demonstrated directly from early Greek inscriptions. I am now working on the historical linguistics of Greek in general.
