As a researcher in Digital Humanities, he is engaged in structuring cultural resources using knowledge graphs, developing low-cost tools for building digital archives, and exploring the integration of AI technologies with the humanities. He is also involved in building databases on Japanese manga, anime, and digital games, and designing metadata schemas for sharing research data in the humanities. He also practices the use of information infrastructure in these fields.
