My main research interests are in the philosophy of the English-speaking world from the modern era up to the present. In particular, the classical pragmatism and related areas from the late 19th to the early 20th century, such as the philosophies of Peirce, James, and Whitehead. Among them, I am interested in the important concepts that link Peirce's pragmatism, semiotics, and metaphysics, such as habit, the real possibility and vagueness, evolutionary cosmology, and the concept of the "cosmos." I am also interested in the question of what meaning and application these debates can have in the present day.
