Our program is devided into four sections .

Main activities of our program are as follows. The concrete contents of these activities should be introduced at each page of this website.

  1. planning and managing symposium, workshop, special lecture, etc.
  2. holding workshops of death and life studies by specially appointed researchers
  3. publishing journals, booklets and newsletters, etc.

Some young scholars and students work in our program as "specially appointed researchers" and "assistants". They regularly hold workshops about Death and Life studies, and are in charge of various work such as management of symposium and editing booklets.

Our program stands as an expansion of "The Program of Applied Ethics Studies" which was established in 2002. We hope to corporate and support each other through interpersonal and organizational efforts.
