The sixth Anglo-Japanese Conference of Historians (AJC) will be held 16 - 19 September 2009 in Tokyo
with nine invited British speakers and four guests.

The general theme for 2009 is British history 1600-2000: expansion in perspective.

Master classes for postgraduates are planned on Sunday, 13 September;
Junior sessions for younger historians on Saturday, 19 September.
Prof. Taylor (Director of IHR) will speak for Urban Historians on 14^th ,
at the AJC on 16^th , and at Nagoya on 20^th .
