3 Photographs of excavations at the Tokoro-chashi Sites
(1) Photographs of excavations and archaeological reports of the Okhotsk Locality
The following report has been published regarding archaeological excavations of Pit Houses 7 through 10 at Tokoro-chashi site Okhotsk Locality from 1998 to 2005.
The originals for the photographs included in this report (120 reversal film; 6 × 9 or 6 × 4.5 cm) have been digitized by high-definition scanning and are publicly available at the website.
Of the 60 images published on this website, 52 images have already been included in the report, and those that are corresponding to photographic plates in the report are indicated in the metadata of each image. Note that image No. 28, which was shown horizontally flipped in the report, has been corrected on this website. Errors in the captions of the report have also been corrected and updated.
Furthermore, eight images not included in the report have been digitized from the originals and published here.
All the original and digitized data for the photographs are stored at the Tokoro Research Laboratory.
