Raji Sourani (Director of the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights) will

give a talk on the situation of the Gaza Strip and its humanitarian crisis

imposed on Gazans under the prolonged Israeli siege and blockade for more

than 3 years, focusing on violation of international human rights law.

He is one of a few precious persons who are able to explain its situation

from legal aspects and significance of full implementation of human rights

law in context of Palestine issues.

He will also talk about human rights abuses against Palestinians under

the occupation from legal aspects, since he has dozens of knowledge and

experiences of actual court cases dealt in the Israeli military courts

as a lawyer and director of the Palestine Center for Human Rights.
