Comment | These artifacts were excavated together from a burial pit, which is considered to be from the first half of the Epi-Jomon period. As the amber beads (found front center) are almost unprocessed, this pit is considered to be from the early stage of the Early Epi-Jomon period, or even earlier. Many stoneware artifacts were also found, such as arrowheads, knives, end scrapers, and side scrapers. |
