Comment | Eleven large and small pottery vessels of the Nusamai type were unearthed from a burial pit from the second half of the Final Jomon period. These consist of decorative pottery in the form of a ship-shaped shallow bowl, small pottery with an overhanging bottom, and red-colored pottery. In particular, the center one is a rare example containing a human-faced pattern. |
