| Comment | Susuya type pottery spread from central Sakhalin to the northern end of Hokkaido around the Late Epi-Jomon period. There are two types, comb-marked pottery and cord-marked pottery, and this is an example of the latter type. It was excavated at Kalinino/Tarandomari on Sakhalin Island when it belonged to Japan. Donated by a private benefactor. |
