He received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Tokyo in 2021. Before his current appointment, he held positions as a Project Researcher (JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow) at the Graduate School of Sociology, Hitotsubashi University, and as a Researcher at the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Tsukuba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His research is in philosophy, with a focus on philosophy of language, conceptual engineering, social ontology, and the history of analytic philosophy. He is a co-author of <em>Conceptual Engineering: Methodological and Metaphilosophical Issues<\/em> (ed. Piotr Stalmaszczyk, Brill\/Mentis, 2024).
