About the Tindi language

Tindi belongs to the North-Caucasian linguistic family, Nakh-Daghestanian (East Caucasian) group, Andic (< Avar-Andic-Tsezic) subgroup.

Where the speakers live

In the Republic of Daghestan the Tindians live in the Tsumada district in the following villages: Tindi, Echeda, Aknada, Tissi and smaller settlements Gadajchi, Tissi-Akhitl.
