CommentThese artifacts were excavated together from a burial pit with the pottery of the Initial Epi-Jomon period, which included a stone arrowhead, a knife, polished stone axes, and a pumice whetstone. In addition, the earthenware in the front, to the right, has a hollow body with four holes. Although it is perhaps an ocarina, the details are unknown.
