Comment | These artifacts were excavated together from a burial pit from the second half of the final Jomon period. During this period, pottery and stoneware was buried together in large quantities. Twenty-two stemmed stone arrowheads with a shape characteristic of the Final Jomon period, bifacial knives, and polished stone axes were found in this burial pit. Two red-colored and specially shaped pieces of pottery, along with pottery with a code mark, were also found here. |
