Comment | Rouletted Pattern Pottery Group from the Tokoro River Estuary Site. This type of pottery was distributed throughout eastern Hokkaido during the first half of the Middle Jomon period. The cylindrical form was influenced by the series of Ento type pottery in southern Hokkaido. During this period, the rouletted pattern is not seen in the southern area, but it is typical of northeastern Hokkaido. |
