Comment | The fish hook is another bone and antler implement that was evident in Okhotsk culture. The example shown was made of multiple large parts, and this is an example of a “three-part composition fish hook” formed with a shank with a groove for attaching a line, a barb for connecting the point, and the point of the fish hook. It is thought to have been used for fishing for large benthic fish. |
