概要:
North American feminists have struggled with issues of race, class, and
sexual orientation (among others) as we have developed feminist theories and
engaged in activism. The concept of "intersectionality" has emerged as a
constructive, but still very controversial, way to deal with women's
similarities and differences. I defend a concept of intersectionality that
encompasses privilege as well as subordination and argue that
intersectionality remains a useful tool for feminist theory and practice.
